a body of work that copied basic tools such as work benches, saw horses, hammers, and the ubiquitous ‘wooden pallet’. The choice of objects stemmed from a curiosity about the ‘aesthetics of labour’ and our attitudes towards manual skill, patience and craftsmanship in comparison to machine technologies, global economics and mass production.
